Oak in Sika bed ... with a touch of hard wax

The floor in the saloon is finished ... and it is beautiful :)

The central boards can be removed to allow access to the lead-filled bilge. 

This was definitely not the easiest way to get a ship's floor. But as always, all the hours pay off in the end with a sturdy & practical floor.
